This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2016 and to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his men employees and servants for cutting and removing the outlived rubber trees from Maruthi Estate Aalancholai, Kaliyal Village, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District as per contract dated 06.07.2016.

In view of the limited scope of relief sought for, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 11.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
