By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, the subject mentioned property is classified as Natham Poramboke in the revenue records and she was residing there, along with her family, for the past 33 years. Therefore, she has submitted several representations right from the year 2003 and finally on 05.12.2017, before the respondents, requesting them to grant patta, in her name, in respect of the property in dispute, citing G.O.Ms.No.34, Revenue LDI(2) Department dated 23.01.2008. she is before this Court with the above prayer.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2017, is disposed of, by the first respondent, within a stipulated time limit.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents, more particularly, the first respondent, to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
