Respondents Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue the patta in Survey No.28/3 to an extent of 0.40.50 Hectares, Thappukundu Village, Theni Taluk and District in favour of the petitioner and consider the GO MS No.456 dated 01.09.2021 based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2022. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of patta in respect of the petition mentioned land.

3. It appears that re-classification has to be done. It is stated by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the first respondent has already sent a proposal to the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chepauk, Chennai on 22.03.2022.

4. The Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai is directed to take a call on the proposal of the first respondent within a period of four weeks after receiving a copy of this order. The first respondent is directed to forward a copy of this order to the Commissioner of Land

Administration, Chepauk, Chennai immediately. After the proposal of the first respondent is accepted by the Commissioner of Land Administration, the third respondent will process the petition mentioned representation and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter. On these terms, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
