Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction the revised pension of Rs.27,000/- (Rupees Twenty Seven Thousand only) and the arrear amount Rs.8,42,070/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs forty two thousand and Seventy only) for the period of 01.08.1995 to 31.03.2014 fixed by the second respondent in his P17/4/11709938/PPO dated 23.02.2014 and for the present period also and on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 11.01.2017 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 as well as the learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the revised pension was granted to the petitioner.

2. In such view of the matter, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. However, if there are any other reasons to agitate with regard to this matter, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the same.
