ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's property in S.F.No.160/6 by fixation of the entrance gate on the compound wall on the northern side situated in the 5th Block, Trichy Main Road, Sekkalaikottai Village, Sankarapuram Panchayat, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the above said property, now, the fourth respondent is preventing the petitioner from putting up the construction. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking for Police protection.

petitioner and the fourth respondent relating to the title of the property. At this stage, the Police cannot interfere in the civil dispute and cannot give Police protection to the petitioner. In the above circumstances, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and the same stands dismissed accordingly. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the concerned Civil Court.
