ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the respondents 1 and 2 to prevent the respondents 3 and 4 from entering the petitioner's land and to provide Police protection to the petitioner's life, limb and property on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2025. 2.As far as the first part of the prayer is concerned, the respondents 3 and 4 prevented from the petitioner's land is purely a civil dispute and the Police cannot be directed to interfere in the civil dispute. It is only the competent civil Court that can decide the same.

3.As far as providing Police protection to the life and limb is concerned, depending upon the threat perception, the Police authorities are directed to consider the said request if a fresh application is filed. That apart, the question 2/4

of providing protection to the property of the petitioner does not arise. It is for the petitioner to move the civil Court.

4.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
