Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.4222/Admn/2012, dated 17.05.2016, and consequential impugned advertisement bearing No.1/TNJ/2016, dated 06.07.2016, published in the Daily Thanthi newspaper dated 07.07.2016, in so far as serial No.1 relating to the calling for applications and filling up of the post namely Deputy Manager (Dairying) in the Thanjavur District Cooperative Milk Producers Union namely the respondent department and quash the same and further direct the respondent to re-fix the petitioner's salary referring Special Grade in Grade-I in the post of Milk recorder and promote the petitioner to the post of Deputy Manager (Dairy) within a time frame fixed by this Court. O R D E R

Ms.G.Girija, who was appointed as a Milk Recorder GradeII on 07.10.1987, in the respondent Thanjavur District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited, has come to this Court, seeking promotion to the post of Deputy Manager (Dairy), on the ground that the respondent declining to give promotion to her, has given promotion to the juniors of the petitioner.

2. Heard both sides.

3. When a question was posed to the learned counsel for the petitioner, as to how the juniors of the petitioner were given https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

promotion before her, he was unable to answer, however, he submitted that Mr.G.Chandrasekaran and Mr.M.Kannan have been given promotion.

4. As a matter of fact, both of them are seniors to the petitioner, because the records show that they were appointed much prior to the petitioner.

5. In view of the above, there is no ground to entertain this writ petition, therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No Costs.
