Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct the enquiry and cancel the patta issued by the fifth respondent in respect of S.No.1016 of Sivapuram Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 17.02.2016. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Baalasundharam For Respondents : Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, after advancing arguments for some time, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition, with a liberty to work out his remedy administratively and also made an endorsement to that effect. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, has drawn the attention of this Court to the counter affidavit filed by the fifth respondent and would submit that the petitioner under the guise of submitting representation, wants to revive a stale claim and has not even arrayed the alleged fictitious persons, as parties in this writ petition and prays for dismissal of the same. 3.This Court has considered the rival submissions and also perused the materials placed before it.
4.In the light of the endorsement so made, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. If the petitioner is so advised and if it is open to him under law, subject to law of limitation, he may work out his remedy administratively, before the competent forum. No costs.
