Murugan, : Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the official respondents to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 08.06.2022 and 27.06.2022 and also protecting the petitioner and his family to worship in Kaliamman and Karuppasamy temple, Emakalapuram, to draw water in the village pipe and to participate in the all village affairs and also take necessary action against the respondents Nos. 4 to 9 within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the official respondents to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 08.06.2022 and 27.06.2022. 2/5

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was isolated from the village namely, Emakalapuram and denied to worship Kaliamman and Karuppasamy temple, Emakalapuram. The private respondent influenced the Village Panchayat, hence the Panchayat has not provided water connection to the petitioner. Therefore, he lodged a complaint to the respondent police. But, till now no action has been taken. Hence, this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner had already lodged a complaint on 08.06.2021, for the same, CSR.No.199 of 2022 has been assigned and enquiry was also conducted. Both the parties appeared for the enquiry and amicably settled the matter. But, again the petitioner lodged a fresh complaint on 27.06.2022. Further, he stated that the respondent police is ready to consider the same and complete the enquiry, within a period of one week.

4.Recording the same, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.06.2022 and take suitable action on merit and in accordance with law, within a period of one week, from the date 3/5

of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
