ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(c), 25, 29(1) NDPS 1/3

Act in Cr.No.398 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons were found in illegal possession of 44 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent submits that the accused persons were found in illegal possession of 44 kgs of ganja, which is commercial in nature. Accordingly, he prays to dismiss the present petition. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and also considering that the quantity involved in this case is commercial in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
