This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2023, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.K.Sivabalan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.A.Arul Jenifer, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.4.

3. According to the petitioner, 2 acre 61 cents of land in S.No. 135/1 situated at Illupur Village, Puthukottai District, originally belonged to the petitioner's father. 4th respondent herein created some invalid documents and obtained patta in her name. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 26.03.2023, seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of 4th respondent. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that 1 acre of land in S.No.135/1 was already acquired under land acquisition proceedings and the subject property is recorded as Government poramboke in the revenue records.

In view of the stand taken by the respondents before this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.03.2023 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
