2. When this petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.Malaisamy, the Inspector of Police, who is present before this Court, submits that he assumed office recently and therefore, he requires some time to file the final report. However, he ensures that the final report would be filed within four weeks.

3. Recording the submission of the Inspector of Police, who is present before this Court, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent Police to conclude the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Court, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 10.06.2025 Index : Yes / No.
