For Respondent : Mr.T.Senthilkumar, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.23 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 120(B), 417, 420, 466, 468, 471, 166-A and 34 of IPC, in Crime No.23 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused were working as Registrars and they have registered the unapproved plots continuously and the same were illegally registered without perusing the documents and without following the rules and provisions of the Registration Act. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and the petitioners has been falsely implicated in the present case. He would further submit that these documents have been registered in the year 2014 and 2015 prior to the circular issued by the competent authority.

CRL OP(MD). No.12609 of 2021 4.The learned counsel for the Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that prohibition for registering unapproved layout has been issued by the Hon'ble supreme Court in the year 2016 and those documents were registered in the years 2014 and 2015. He would further submit that the disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against this petitioner and the other accused. He further submitted that the petitioner is having three previous cases to his credit.
5. Considering the nature of offence and the antecedents of the petitioner that he is involved in three other previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
