2. The petitioner is a resident of Nedukanenthal Village. He alleges that in survey No.544/1, there are encroachments. The petitioner has approached this Court as if the water body has been encroached.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader clarified that the said survey number has been classified as Natham and that it is not a water body. The contesting respondents have produced materials which indicate that the petition-mentioned lands are not water bodies. We do not find any ground to issue the direction sought for. This writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
