By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the stage of admission itself.

2. Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Counsel, takes notice for the respondents.

3. The petitioner before this Court is a private Cable TV Operator and according to him, the first respondent has appointed him as an Additional MSO (Multi System Operator) on 12.06.2012. Pursuant to the same, he was functioning to the utmost satisfaction of the respondents. Thereafter, the petitioner has made a request before the respondents to provide him Digital Signals, as provided by them to other TCOs/DCOs, so as to enable the petitioner to provide Digital Signals to his intending LCOs. not been considered by the respondents, he has submitted a representation dated 10.12.2017 and as the same is also kept pending, without any action, the present petition came to be filed.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2017, is disposed of by the respondents, on merits.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
