ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN, J.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to effect name transfer for Shed No.BS9 SIDCO Industrial Estate, Kappalur, Madurai, in her name.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is represented by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the 1st respondent has commenced the process of changing the name from the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.16285 of 2020 petitioner's deceased husband to her name. He has also submitted a letter dated 23.11.2020, to this effect and sought permission to withdraw this writ petition.

3. Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would confirm that the process of name transfer has already commenced and has also produced a copy of the proceedings of the Branch Manager, SIDCO, Madurai, in Rc.No.561/A2/2020, dated 23.11.2020.

4. Recording the above submission made by the learned Counsel on either side, this writ petition is closed. However, if the name transfer is not effected, it is always open to the petitioner to reopen the writ petition. No costs.
