Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to dispose of petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2017 for enhancement of compensation for land acquisition within stipulated time.

2. Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, the subject mentioned property belongs to him and his brothers and the same was acquired by the respondents for laying National Highways. For the said acquisition, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

necessary compensation had also been effected. Being dissatisfied with the compensation awarded, the petitioner along with his brothers have submitted a representation dated 15.02.2016, followed by a final representation dated 25.10.2017, before the first respondent and as the same is kept pending, without any action, he is before this Court, seeking a direction, to the first respondent, for early disposal of his representation dated 25.10.2017.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of case and also the limited scope of the prayer sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
