By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the stage of admission itself.

2. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent.

3. The petitioner, being a physically challenged person, is before this Court, contending that despite the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court, directing the Corporations to allot 5% of its shops for physically challenged persons, her request seeking allocation as well as license for running a petty shop, has not met its fate at the hands of the respondent, which forced the petitioner to submit several representations on 20.09.2017 & 15.12.2017. But, the same are also kept pending, without any action and hence, the present petition came to be filed.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned

Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2017, is disposed of by the respondent, on merits, within a stipulated time limit.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of case and also the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
