JUDGMENT

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The appellants were appointed as Vocational Instructors in Government schools. Their contention is that following the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission, they were eligible for revised basic pay of Rs.21,470/- as per the Additional Fitment Table 15 and Rule 4(1)(iii) of the Tamil Nadu Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 2009. Their request was rejected by the second respondent herein vide Letter No.41275/Fin(CMPC)/2020-1 dated 02.02.2021. Challenging the rejection order, WP(MD)No.14043 of 2022 was filed. The learned Single Judge vide order dated 30.01.2023 dismissed the writ petition. There is a delay of 62 days in filing this writ appeal. 3.The question of condoning the delay in filing this writ appeal does not arise. Because, the issue raised in this writ appeal is no longer res integra. Vide order dated 29.08.2025 in WA(MD)No.468 of 2025 etc., we held that applying the Additional Fitment Table 15 does not arise for the post of Vocational Instructors. After so holding, we had allowed the appeals filed by the Government. In view of the said order, 6/9

we have to necessarily uphold the impugned order of the learned Single Judge. This writ appeal stands dismissed in the SR Stage itself. No costs.
