ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to permit the petitioner to pay the Additional Security Deposit of Rs.1,01,09,466/- alone in 6 equal monthly instalments along with the regular current consumption charges.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. It is noticed that already several orders have been passed by this court granting time to the persons similar to the petitioner to pay the amount in installments. In this connection, the learned counsel for the petitioner produced a copy of the order passed by this court dated 26.05.2021 in W.P.No.12099 of 2021 (M/s Venkateswara Cotton Mills vs. The Chairman, TANGENCO and other) and 28.05.2025 in W.P.No.19524 of 2025 (M/s Venkalakshmi Paper and Boards Pvt. Ltd., vs. The Chairman, TANGENCO and other). 2/4

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that these orders have not been reversed.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage in the light of the order passed by this court extending the period for remitting the amount in installments by permitting the petitioner to pay additional security deposit of Rs.1,01,09,466/- in six equal monthly installments. The petitioner is directed to remit the first monthly installment by 01.07.2025 and thereafter, on the 1st day of every succeeding month for five months thereafter.
