ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for TANGEDCO / second respondent, the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the fourth respondent. Some of the private respondents have been served.

2. It is not in dispute that the petitioner was originally enjoying the electricity service connection as well as water connection in respect of the petition mentioned residential premises. It appears that the petitioner's family has some serious disputes with the villagers. They had cut off both the connections.

3. When the petitioner was originally enjoying both the connections, it is only just and proper they are restored. The respondents 1 to 3 are directed to restore the electricity service connection as well as 3/5

water connection to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible. The petitioner shall of course pay the necessary reconnection charges. It is open to TANGEDCO officials as well as the revenue officials to avail assistance of the jurisdictional Police for effecting such reconnection.

4. This writ petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
