ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent, dated 09.01.2016 and consequently, direct the respondents 2 and 3 to publish the result in respect of the interview conducted on 28.10.2015 at the 3rd respondent office.

According to the petitioner, originally, the 3rd respondent has conducted interview on 28.10.2015 and in the said interview, the petitioner and other five persons have participated, but, the results had not been published. Hence, the petitioner has filed W.P(MD).No.21987 of 2015, before this Court. This Court, by order dated 09.12.2015, directed the third respondent herein / second respondent therein, to publish the result of the interview within a period of four weeks. the said interview was cancelled by the respondents, against which, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent submitted that the selection committee constituted by the Panchayat Union Council had not found any suitable person for the post of Office Assistant and hence, they had cancelled the interview. They further submitted that now, the respondents have proposed to conduct a fresh interview by calling upon the petitioner and the other persons, who attended in the earlier interview.

Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this Court directs the respondents to conduct the interview and publish the results, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As the petitioner is entitled to participate in the interview, the interview date, time and venue etc., shall be informed to the petitioner by the respondents well in advance.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
