ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 29.04.2025 and issuance of patta in respect of the land situated in Survey No.127, Andipatti Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Sukumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property was originally assigned to his grandfather, Ponnadiayan by the Boomithan Board on 14.12.1988 and he executed a Will on 05.08.2008 bequeathing 2.5 Acres in the said survey number in favour of the petitioner's father. Subsequently, the petitioner's father died on 21.08.2018. On the strength of the Will executed by the petitioner's grandfather, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking issuance of patta in respect of 2.5 Acres. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the
petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the request of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within a time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other legal heirs of deceased Ponnadiayan, within a period a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
