ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the bid submitted by him on 30.05.2025 in response to the tender Notification dated 26.05.2025, issued by the second respondent / Block Development Officer / Commissioner, Vathirayiruppu Panchayat Union, Virudhunagar District.

2. The learned Government Advocate and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents have produced a copy of the communication received from the tender inviting authority, wherein it is stated that the petitioner failed to furnish the requisite documents along with the bid submitted on 30.05.2025. Therefore, the petitioner's bid was rejected during the initial stage of scrutiny.

3. There is no satisfactory explanation forthcoming from the petitioner regarding the non-submission of the necessary documents.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appellate authority under Section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998, for appropriate relief, if so advised. No costs.
