ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the third respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to the land in Survey No.49/3 measuring 1617 square feet at Ambathurai Village, Authoor Taluk, Dindigul District consequent to representation given by the petitioner on 26.05.2023. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner is in possession of the said property and the petitioner claims that he has constructed a house in the suit property. However, patta had not been granted.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader submits that revenue records reveals that the patta stands in the name of the third party. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner clarified that they are the vendors of the petitioner.

5.A direction is given to the third respondent to issue notice to the petitioner herein and direct the petitioner to produce documents relating to 2/4

possession and nature of documents under which the petitioner came to be in possession of the property and after examining the same, if required, the second respondent may issue notice to anybody else who may be either directly or indirectly connected with the issue, if no objection, the second respondent may proceed to comply with the representation given by the petitioner herein. The entire exercise cannot be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.The Writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation. No Costs.
