Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants copies of the "A Register, Field Map, Adangal and encumbrance in respect of the properties belonging to him. All these documents can very well be obtained by the petitioner by applying for certified copies of the same. Instead the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ petitioner has chosen to invoke the RTI Act.

3.I am of the view that when the petitioner is having an effective mechanism to obtain copies of the documents which he now seeks the present writ petition will not lie. It is made clear that as and when the petitioner applies for certified copies of the said documents, it is the statutory duty of the concerned authorities to furnish the same without delay.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
