ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the impugned FIR in Crime No.20 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the second respondent, a case in Crime No.20 of 2016 was registered for the offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 506(i) I.P.C and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Woman Harassment Act, 2002, against the petitioner. Now, after completing the investigation, the case was closed as 'Mistake of Fact' and a negative final report has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

filed before the concerned Judicial Magistrate. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that after completing the investigation in Crime No.20 of 2016, a negative final report has been filed before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
