Prayer in WP(MD). 23838/ 2017 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to fix the four boundaries of the petitioner's lands and its extent of 2 cents situated in Survey No.264/12B of Kottampatty Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District according to law based on her representation dated 12.11.2017. Prayer in WP(MD). 23839 to 23847 of 2017 :

Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to fix the four boundaries of the petitioners lands and its extent of 3,4,21⁄2,3,4,3,4,4 and 3 cents, respectively situated in Survey No.264/12 of Kottampatty Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District according to law based on his representation dated 14.11.2017.

COMMON ORDER Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner in W.P.(MD).No.23838 of 2017, seeks fixation of boundaries for the land allotted in the name of her husband. Her husband has since passed away. The patta was issued as early as in the year 1972. The petitioner has enclosed copy of the said patta also. The petitioner is in possession of the allotted land. The petitioner has given representation in this regard dated 12.11.2017.

3.The petitioners in W.P.(MD).Nos.23839 to 23847 of 2017, belonging to the down trodden section of the society. They have been in possession of the subject lands which measures two cents or three cents for several years. The petitioners have given representations dated 14.11.2017 in this regard. They are eligible for getting free house sale patta.

4.Therefore, this Court directs the third respondent to dispose of the same in accordance with law on or before 31.03.2018.

5.In view of the above, these Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
