ORDER

This revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of I.A.No.3 of 2021 in O.S.No.166 of 2021, on the file of the learned Additional District Munsif, Thoothkudi, within a specified time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and perused the materials available on record.

3. According to the petitioners, they have filed a suit in O.S.No.166 of 2021 on the file of the Additional District Munsif Court, Thoothukudi, for permanent injunction along with an application in I.A.No.3 of 2021 to stay the election process, which was scheduled on 28.08.2021, and the same is pending. In such circumstances, the petitioners have filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking to expedite the trial.

4. Considering the fact that the matter is relating to election process, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the learned Additional District Munsif, Thoothkudi, to dispose of the I.A.No..No.3 of 2021 in O.S.No.166 of 2021, pending on his file, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
