Prayer: This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to appoint the fit person to administer the Arul Mighu Sri Maruthamaram Sudalaimadasamy Thirukovil situated at Varthakareddipatti Village, Thoothukudi District in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2019 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The Writ petitioner sought for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to appoint the fit person to administer the Arul Mighu Sri Maruthamaram Sudalaimadasamy Thirukovil situated at Varthakareddipatti Village, Thoothukudi District in view of the representation dated 01.07.2019.

2.It is represented by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 3 that after enquiry, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department has taken over the management of the temple. The Executive Officer is appointed as fit person.

3.In the light of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, nothing survives for further adjudication on this Writ petition.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

5.Insofar as the petitioner's claim to appoint him as a fit person is concerned, it is always open to the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities with appropriate application.
