The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the 2nd respondent filed W.M.P.(MD) No.18930 of 2021 seeking extension of time to complete the disciplinary proceedings on account of COVID-19 situation and this Court allowed the miscellaneous petition on 23.03.2022 and granted four months time to complete the disciplinary proceedings. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.(MD) No.978 of 2020 2.In view of the fact that extension of time has already been granted, this contempt petition need not be kept pending. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to restore the contempt petition, if the respondents have not implemented the order within the extended period of time granted by this Court.
