Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is the owner of the subject property. The property originally stood in the name of his father Tamilzhan. The father has executed released deed in favour of the petitioner on 20.06.2013 and the same was registered in Document No.1743 of 2013 before the Sethur Sub Registrar Office, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

3.The petitioner wants issuance of property tax receipt in his name. But the respondent continuous to issue only in the name of V.Mathiyalagan and on the ground that the revenue record stand in his name. The name is not changed in the revenue records. He is in occupation of the said house.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no rival claim in the matter.

5.Recording the said submission, the respondent is directed to issue property tax receipt in the name of the petitioner in respect of the subject property.

6.In view of the above direction, the writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
