PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to take further action in respect of FIR No.164 of 2019, on the file of the respondent, and file a Final Report before the concerned Court. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Mohandoss For Respondent : Mr.V.Neelakandan Additional Public Prosecutor.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for directing the respondent to file Final Report in Crime No.164 of 2019.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the FIR in Crime No.164 of 2019 is pending from the year 2019 onwards, without filing the final report till date.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor prays three months time for filing Final Report.

5. Considering the submission, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file the Final Report in Crime No.164 of 2019, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
