For Respondent : Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.2 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 406, 420 and 120-B of IPC r/w Section 5 of Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors Act, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that in the name of 'deposit scheme' more than a sum of Rs.5,00,00,000/- are collected from sixty six persons and misappropriated. Fifteen persons are arrayed as accused in the criminal case and investigation is in progress. 3.In view of the fact that the money involved is more than 5 crores, free and fair trial imminent.
