To p-ermit the petitioners herein to withdraw the 50% of the award amount with accrued interest and cost, which was deposited by the 1st respondent/appellant / Insurance Company to the credit of M.C.O.P.No. 47 of 2015, on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Additional District Court, Virudhunagar.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble N.Anand Venkatesh J.) This petition has been filed to permit the petitioners herein to withdraw 50% of the award amount with accrued interest and cost, which was deposited by the first respondent / appellant / Insurance Company to the credit of M.C.O.P.No. 47 of 2015, on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Additional District Court, Virudhunagar. 2/3

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. Pursuant to the earlier order passed by this Court, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the appellant / Insurance Company has deposited 50% of the compensation amount. The petitioners are permitted to withdraw 50% of the compensation amount out of the amount deposited by the Insurance Company along with the interest.

4. This petition is disposed of accordingly.

5. Registry is directed to post the main Civil Miscellaneous Appeal for hearing on 13.07.2026.
