ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.843 of 2018 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same so far as the petitioner is concerned.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that investigation in this case has already been completed and the final report filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tuticorin, but, it has not been taken on file so far.

3. Since the final report has been filed, there shall be a direction to the Magistrate concerned to process the same within the time stipulated as per rules. If the petitioner is aggrieved with the contents of the final report, he can work out the remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
