ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 28.10.2015 for change of nomination in favour of my adopted daughter Ms.Santhiyayi at least for granting the benefits of the scheme called Government Pensioner's Family Security Fund from the Government for which a clear direction is given through Government Letter No.47652/Finance (PGC) 98-1 dt 13.11.1998.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is a spinster and nominated one Sabari Raja previously as her nominee for receiving certain benefits under the Tamil Nadu Government Pensioner's Family Security Fund Scheme and other Eligible Benefits, to receive the benefits after her death. The petitioner's further case is that now she wants to change her nomination in favour of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

one Santhiyayi, who is an adopted daughter of the petitioner.

3. Though the petitioner has made a representation dated 28.10.2015, for change of nomination in favour of her adopted daughter, the respondent has not passed any order. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.10.2015, for change of nomination in favour of her adopted daughter to receive the benefits of the Tamil Nadu Government Pensioner's Family Security Fund Scheme and other Eligible Benefits, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
