ORDER

This writ petition is filed for Certiorarified Mandamus challenging the refusal check slip dated 30.03.2026 and consequently to register the sale deed presented by the petitioner. 2.When the petitioner presented the sale deed for registration, the same is refused by the impugned order on the ground that no approval as required under Section 27-A(2) has been obtained in respect of the property conveyed and therefore the registration is refused. The primary contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that from the beginning it is not as if the property is classified as agricultural land and the property itself is Natham Manai. Therefore, there is no question of change of user or getting an approval for the layout. Upon such submission is made, the learned Government Standing Counsel was requested to verify the position with reference to the subject matter land in question.

3.Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Standing Counsel would submit that the position has been verified and it is Nathan Manai from the beginning. 4.In view thereof, the reasons mentioned in the impugned refusal check slip cannot be sustained. the writ petition is ordered on the following terms:

(i)The impugned order dated 30.03.2026 shall stand quashed. (ii)Within three weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, the petitioner shall re-present the document. Upon which, the same shall be registered, if there is no other impediment. (iii)No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
