ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.12.2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 302 of IPC @ under Section 302, 120(b), 109 & 450 of IPC @ under section 120(b), 302, 450 & 341 IPC in Crime No.69 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police which is pending in S.C.No.449 of 2022 1/3

on the file of the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli, seeks bail,

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to some illness, the petitioner could not appear before the trial Court. Therefore, the trial Court has issued NBW against the petitioner on 28.11.2024 and he was secured on 19.12.2024. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks bail to the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that there are 17 previous cases pending against the petitioner. He further submitted that the case has been posted on 27.06.2025 for examination of LW1 to LW4. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there are 17 previous cases pending against the petitioner and the nature of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
