ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by the 3rd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli, in S.C.No.424 of 2022, dated 10/03/2025 and to enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the criminal appeal.

2.The petitioner stands convicted and sentenced as under:- Section of Law Sentence of imprisonment Fine amount 302 IPC Life Imprisonment Rs.1,000/-, in default to undergo one months RI 3.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4.The petitioner has failed to make out a prima facie case for grant of suspension of sentence, hence we are of the opinion that it is not a fit case for grant of suspension of sentence to the petitioner. It is also seen from the records that so far, the petitioner is involved in 28 cases and he is an habitual offender.

5.Accordingly this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed.
