Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner from Rajamirasudar Hospital, Thanjavur to Medical College Hospital, Trichy as a Nursing Superintendent Grade-II, based on the representation dated 25.06.2016 in the light of G.O(2D) No.131, Health and Family Welfare (A1) Department dated 20.11.2007 and to pass further orders as this Court may deem fit and proper.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to transfer the petitioner from Rajamirasudar Hospital, Thanjavur to Medical College Hospital, Trichy as a Nursing Superintendent Grade-II, based on the representation dated 25.06.2016 in the light of G.O(2D) No.131, Health and Family Welfare (A1) Department dated 20.11.2007.

3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Though the petitioner seeks to issue a positive direction, in the light of G.O.(2D) No.131, Health and Family Welfare (A1) Department dated 20.11.2007, it is represented by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner that the counselling has been fixed on 27.07.2016 and that a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2016, will be appropriate.

5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2016, in the light of G.O(2D) No.131, Health and Family Welfare (A1) Department dated 20.11.2007, on merits and in accordance with law, during the counselling.
