O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No. 33 of 2024 pending on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondent police and submits that the investigation has already been completed and final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate (PCR) Court, Srivilliputhur, and the same is taken on file in Spl.SC.No. 63 of 2024.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioners by referring the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court submits that even after filing the final report, this Court can quash the FIR, if the Court is satisfied with the materials placed before the Court.

4. This Court is not inclined to entertain this application without ascertaining the materials based on the which the final report has been filed. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, if they are having any grounds.
