Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents No.2 to transfer the petitioner to the available vacant post of Secondary Grade Teacher within Kariapatti Union in Virudhunagar District ahead of the regular deployment transfer and transfer for the year 2017-2018 within the union / district within the time stipulated by this Honble Court.

When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner lost her life in a road accident.

2.This Contempt Petition is filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in a Writ Petition preferred by the petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.8944 of 2017. This Court by order, dated 05.03.2021, disposed of the Writ Petition with a direction to the second respondent therein, to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 26.04.2017, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.256, dated 19.04.2017, and to pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court. CONT P(MD)No.1210 of 2021 3.In view of the unfortunate development, the prayer in the Writ Petition as well as the Contempt Petition does not survive and hence, the Contempt Petition is closed.
