ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 27.07.2019, within a stipulated time.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondent.
3. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4. The case of the petitioner is that while he was serving in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, a charge memo was issued and after enquiry, punishment of stoppage of increment for a period of two years with cumulative effect was imposed vide order dated 18.07.2019. Against which, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the respondent on 27.07.2019. Since the same has not been considered so far, the present Writ Petition is filed before this Court.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the appeal filed by petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
6. Considering the nature of the relief as sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 27.07.2019 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
