ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel on both sides.

2. The writ petitioner is running a home for mentally ill and the said institution is a registered one. His specific grievance is that the third respondent is unlawfully interfering with the activities of the said home. He has given specific details in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition and on 14.09.2017, the writ petitioner has submitted a representation before the first respondent.

3. Caring for the mentally ill is a societal duty and the matter requires to be handled with utmost sensitivity. If the allegations of the writ petitioner regarding the activities of the third respondent are true, it is a case for serious consideration and strict action should be taken against him.

4. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to enquire into the matter and take action on the representation dated 14.09.2017. The first respondent shall submit a compliance report to the Registry of this Court on or before 30.01.2018.
