O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint, dated 03.09.2020, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and also sought for a consequential direction to take action against the second respondent for his abuse of police power and illegal act, within the time fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police has produced a proceedings of the Superintendant of Police, Thoothukudi District, dated 23.11.2020 in C.No.557/X/SB/TUT/202, where, the Superintendant of Police, Thoothukudi District has nominated one Mr.G.Gopi, Additional Superintendant of Police, CWC, Thoothukudi District, as Enquiry Officer to conduct an enquiry and file a report, at the earliest before the Office of the Superintendant of Police, Thoothukudi District.

5. Recording the aforesaid proceedings, the Writ Petition stands closed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
