ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to give compensation amount in respect of the acquired land of the petitioner in Survey Nos.394/2, 394/3 and 395/8A situate at Thidakottai Group, Devakottai Tauk, Sivagangai District, as per the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2016. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate by producing the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.A1/35/2012, dated 30.08.2018, wherein, it has been stated that a sum of Rs.1,45,145/- towards the petitioner's share out of the total compensation of Rs.4,35,436/- for the acquired lands, will be credited to the petitioner's bank account, produced a cheque bearing No.625485003, dated 07.09.2018, for a sum of Rs.1,45,145/- payable to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The petitioner and her counsel are present before this Court and the above cheque for a sum of Rs.1,45,145/- towards compensation for the acquired lands, is handed over to the petitioner. The petitioner and her counsel also made endorsements in the case bundle acknowledging the receipt of the cheque. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Recording the endorsements, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
