2022 on the file of the respondent police, has approached this Court that the respondent police has not concluded the investigation in Crime No.197 of 2022 so far.

2.Today(09.06.2025), when this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for admission, Mr.P.Kottaichamy, Government Advocate (Crl.side), who takes notice for the respondent, based on the instructions provided to him submits that the case of this petitioner was duly enquired and closed as mistake of fact on 26.12.2024. According to the learned Government Advocate, RCS notice was attempted to be served on the petitioner, however, he has refused to receive the same and therefore, they have sent the RCS notice through registered post on 26.12.2024 itself.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has denied the same.

4.Considering the rival submissions made, this Criminal Original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to 2/4

furnish a copy of the RCS notice along with the final report to the petitioner's counsel by today. It is open to the petitioner to file his objection petition, if any before the concerned Magistrate and the learned Magistrate shall entertain the same, provided, if a petition is filed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
