*********** The case of the petitioner is that there is an error with regard to date of birth in his passport. Seeking rectification of the same, the writ petitioner gave a representation dated 19.12.2017 to the respondent. He wants re-issuance of the passport.

2. The petitioner informs this Court that his employer withheld the passport and only with the help of the white passport issued by the Indian Embassy at Kuwait, the writ petitioner was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ able to come down to India. The Writ Petitioner now seeks only a

correction of error of date of birth in his passport. He has already placed all the materials to show his correct date of birth before the respondent.

3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for, this Court directs the respondent to rectify the error relating to the petitioner's date of birth in his passport and re-issue the same on or before 28.02.2018. This Writ Petition is allowed, accordingly. No costs.
