ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent, who is none other than the petitioner's wife, now the second and third respondents are harassing the petitioner. According to the petitioner, the second respondent police belongs to Tirunelveli District and the third respondent police belongs to Tuticorin District. Now, both the second and third respondents are harassing the petitioner. Hence, he has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that now the complaint lodged against the petitioner is pending before the second respondent. Hence, the second respondent directed the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner to appear for enquiry based on the complaint given by the petitioner's wife alleging dowry harassment and without appearing for enquiry, the petitioner has come before this Court with the present petition.

4. Considering the fact that the enquiry on the complaint lodged against the petitioner is pending before the second respondent, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent and co-operate with the enquiry. During enquiry, the respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner.

5. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
